Engaging with nature allows for complete sensory immersion. The sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors can awaken curiosity and foster creativity, encouraging individuals to explore and discover new skills. Whether it's climbing a tree, navigating a hiking trail, or identifying wildlife, these experiences challenge individuals to adapt, problem-solve, and build resilience.

Absolutely! We emphasize building the foundational skills that play a key role in handwriting development. While practicing handwriting is important, progress really depends on addressing the essential underlying skills first.
In our sessions, we focus on strengthening the areas that impact handwriting, such as:
Postural and shoulder stability
Bilateral coordination (using both hands together)
Fine motor skills
Hand development
Visual perceptual skills
Attention and focus
Executive functioning skills
Organization
Additionally, engaging in outdoor play can greatly boost these skills, leading to noticeable improvements in handwriting performance.

We love to play—rain or shine! We don’t cancel for bad weather, we embrace it and have fun in it. The only time we’ll cancel is in cases of severe or hazardous weather, like hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, extreme cold or hail. If weather conditions ever lead to a cancellation, we’ll notify you as early as possible.
-
Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours before the appointment. Any cancellations after this time will be subject to a cancellation fee

Payments can be made by credit cards, health saving account (HSA) or flexible medical saving account (FSA) cards. We will provide you with the necessary documents upon request to submit to your insurance if you wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement.
